Clinical Studies

The University of Notre Dame's Center for Advanced Measurement of Personality and Psychopathology, or the "CAMPP Lab," is co-directed by Professors Lee Anna Clark and David Watson.

Broadly, the focus of our research is on measuring personality and psychopathology, and exploring how the two are related. Projects in our lab are related to the assessment of mood and mood disorders, personality and personality pathology, and psychosocial functioning.

We assess these variables using self-report measures, other-ratings or "informant" surveys (collected from friends and family members of target participants), and assessment interviews. Recent projects have included the development of new symptom and trait measures, refinement of life and personality functioning measures, and the examination of personality and psychopathology over time.
